Happy Tuesday! I’m absolutely loving the East Coast while Hailey and I stay with her sister-in-law, Sarah! We flew with H’s Lily girl and Sarah’s baby girl, Evie, and they both did so good on the flight! Hailey will be doing a traveling with a baby post soon so catch that on Instagram! The weather is absolutely beautiful and the fact that there is no humidity (we’re from Houston and the humidity is real) makes me SO happy! Yesterday we went shopping in historic New Bern, North Carolina, and I found the cutest little teacups in an antique shop! I have built-in shelves in my new apartment and I think they will be the perfect home for my little finds! Also, the food has been so good, and us little girls like to eat our way through trips!
Summer is officially here which that means I actually have to shave my legs every other day and lather on the St. Tropez! I’m extremely fair complected, and I love that it doesn’t make me look orange or streaky! I apply it all over with their mitt and then wash it off in 3 hours, and it gives you the perfect sun kissed glow! I can usually keep it looking fresh and even for about a week with lots of moisturizing! And if you really want to take the Carrie Underwood legs to the extreme, this airbrush body make up is the best! I used this while in LA. Chelsea hosed me down in the shower, and I felt like J.Lo! My legs seriously looked flawless! I’m covered in bruises and it covered every single one of them! Another tip for summer legs: I’m always standing on my tippy toes, doing calve raises, or squats when I’m doing my make up and hair! As women we wear many hats, and that leaves little time to go to the gym! Doing a little exercise here and there when you have a chance truly makes a difference!
This skirt is giving me all the beachy and vacay vibes! I love that it’s a wrap skirt and could easily be thrown over a bathing suit or dress it up for a night out! I’ve been loving fun prints lately and the palm tree print is no exception! Most maxi skirts can cost you a pretty penny but this one is only $18 and you can achieve multiple looks out of it! I call that a win in my book!
