Happy Monday! I’m in Dallas for a few days visiting some sweet souls and enjoying the day off yesterday! We went to The Rustic for brunch and listened to some live music, the most perfect way to spend a Sunday! It’s $16.95 for a HA-YUGE spread of food and I’m certain I ate my weight in french toast. I was also reminded that I’m no longer 21 years old, if you catch my drift. I could only hang till 4:00 and then had to take a little six hour nap. Those bottomless mimosas will get ya! I think having a day off on the weekend was a shock to my system lol!

It’s been awhile since I’ve shared my current obsessions and it just so happens that a few of the details of my outfit have found a spot on that list! Here’s the low down on a few of my favorite things!

1. Tops that tie! I was able to snag this top during the #nsale and sadly it’s sold out!  Bummer, I know! It’s one of those tops that’s a head turner and I got a ton of compliments on it! But I found this and it’s practically identical! It’s a really versatile piece – structured but light, dressy enough for date night and casual enough to run errands in!

2. Clear shoes! I didn’t think I was cool enough to hop on this trend but turns out I feel like Kendall Jenner when I wear these bad boys! My best friend and I were shopping last week and she talked me in to trying these shoes on which turned into me leaving the store with them! They’re so comfortable and the heel is a perfect height. I was a little concerned about the plastic being too tight but I haven’t had any issues with them! A definite buy in my book!

3. Simple leather bags + goods! H and I hosted an event at Madewell this past Thursday and we each got a new tote! I love that this has handles and a removable strap! I’ve been using it as my work bag and I don’t plan on changing it out anytime soon! I also got this as an insert for my lipsticks! I’ve had too many glosses explode in my purse and I’ve learned my lesson!

4. Lucite organizational pieces! You all know how I feel about my Glambox. I don’t know how I lived without it because it is THAT pivotal in my getting ready routine. I heard the phrase “if you can’t see it, you’re not going to use it.” Boy, is that the truth! I have a hard time admitting that I’m a hoarder when it comes to beauty products and this keeps me from having my family organize an intervention on my behalf.

5. Antique and vintage inspired decor! My mom has been collecting flow blue china for most of my life. My parents recently bought a new house and I can’t wait to see how she decorates this new home with all of her china! She definitely passed down her love of antiques to Hailey and I and we’ve each started our own small collections! I’ve been buying white and blue china here and there, I found a store Shop Waiting on Martha which has some great decor pieces! I’ve linked what’s currently in my shopping cart!
