Spring Blooms

Hi, sassies! We’re back from Spring Break and getting back in the swing of things around here! We’re getting ready for the Easter holiday with friends and family and switching our wardrobe up to compliment the new season – our favorite season – SPRING! You definitely get a variety of climate during this time of year in Texas so we try to keep up with the weather as best as we can! What are your plans this weekend?! Hailey will be spending Easter with Jacob and the rest of the Daniels family! It will be the one year anniversary of her becoming a Catholic and she has grown so much in her faith through this past year – so sweet and special to witness! Kailey will be working a wedding with the Sunkissed girls…I’m not gonna lie I’m a little sad to not be spending mine and Lukas’ first Easter together but happy to be beautifying a sweet bride for her big day. You have to look at the glass half full, right?!

As you can see, I’ve been playing with mine and Hailey’s hair lately! I really miss my long hair so Hailey is basically my own little doll to play new do’s on. I don’t necessarily regret cutting my hair but it has been somewhat of a challenge to style it to my liking! Short hair girls, how do you do it?! I thought a lob would be a little less maintenance for a busy gal like me and boy was I wrong! I have to fix it everyday and I have made a routine to go around not washing my hair! First day, down. Second day, half up bun. Third day, whatever I can do to not make it look disgusting! Which usually results in a messy low bun or throw a cap on and call it a day! But on the other hand, H still has pretty long/medium locks and I was able to put up an angelic crown braid to fight the wind! It’s such a pretty alternative to putting all your hair up and it’s honestly pretty easy! Hopefully we will get up a tutorial soon! My sweet friend, Candice, braided me this fun/edgy/girly top knot and it gives me all the heart eyes! I actually like having a little bit of a darker root with this look because it makes the braid stand out!
